Outstanding Researcher Awards 2022-23
Twelve winners were awarded in the 2022-23 Outstanding Researcher Awards Scheme, the annual awards for research excellence which aim to recognise, honour and reward exceptional work in research by HKU staff. Awardees were celebrated at a presentation ceremony in March 2024.

HKU Ranks 13th Globally with 51 Highly Cited Researchers
HKU has 51 academics named in the list of Highly Cited Researchers 2023, the highest number for HKU to date. The University's significant rise in ranking also contributes to Hong Kong's ascent into the list of top 10 regions and nations for 2023, according to Clarivate.

Four HKU Projects Receive US NAM Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards(HK)
Four research projects from HKU's Faculty of Engineering and Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine have been awarded Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards (Hong Kong) 2023 in the Healthy Longevity Global Competition held by the US National Academy of Medicine (NAM).
